About Training:
Competitive teams can expect activities 3 to 4 times weekly, under the leadership and supervision of our highly experienced, professional coaching staff, many who has played professionally themselves and a large coaching experience in USA and around the world. These activities are designed to significantly advance each player’s individual skills as well as to teach responsibility, discipline, and teamwork. The program also aims to educate and develop the players in the Brazilian style of soccer and to encourage a true passion for the game. Check back frequently for updated information. This the competitive youth soccer program is well located to serve families in cities all around the Phoenix area such as Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Laveen, Mesa, Ahwatukee.
What to expect:
- Training under highly skilled and experienced Professional Coaching Staff
- Practices 3 nights/week, alongside other Brazas teams at one of our locations practice field locations.
- Brazas teams will be practicing together on the same field to promote club's unity and also allows our Academy and Competitive teams to have the opportunity to scrimmage each other and coaches can encourage our players to take more challenges which can increasing our chances for individual player's development.
- Our proposal for the first season (August to December) is to have 2 outdoor sessions and 1 indoor Futsal training day for all teams at the gym facility, the second season we will provide the Brazilian skills night on Mondays in combination with the physical conditioning.
- The club will provide Goal Keeper Training and Physical conditioning appropriated by age groups and levels.
- Practice sessions will run approximately 1 hr 30 minutes each.
- Coaches' strategy and training to emphasize the number of touches on the ball, game wise, accurate passing working, and overall teamwork. It is not uncommon for coaches to occasionally move players between teams at practice or to invite players for extra tournaments to contribute with the player exposure and increase individual skills development.
- In additional to our Elite training, in prep for the main State competition, we will provide Specific groups/individual training by sectors, roles, and responsibilities in the game (i.e. goalkeepers, the defensive zone, the midfield zone, and the offensive zone)
- Speed/agility/core training under the guidance of a Physical Training Coach
- Weekly Brazilian Skills Clinics being offered as an individual Advanced Training Sessions with our Professional coaching staff
- Additional Futsal Training Sessions once a week for all teams and ages available
- Beach/Sand Soccer Programs (usually in the summer)
- All Teams are Registered at ASA Advanced Leagues, State, and Open Leagues
- To maximize individual playing time we also provide Futsal Games events, and scrimmages opportunities
- Minimum of 5 tournaments planned per season (teams will determine, not uncommon to be more).
- The club will organize The Annual "Futsal Challenge tournament" which is a mandatory event for all teams (at ASU gym facility)
- Brazas F.C. International Program provides the opportunity to our players to be exposure internationally, meet players from other countries, and have the amazing experience to compete overseas. Usually the International trips are planned early in the season for the following summer having us time to prepare all aspects. Here is some of the countries Brazas Teams has been visited to play tournaments and events in South America and Europe: Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Brazil.

As with any quality program, the offerings are constantly being reviewed and adjusted to maximize the benefit to our players and their development.
